Server Rules

G11. Hyperion Networks does not condone racism, sexism or the discussion (including making jokes) of religious or historical topics or the use of inappropriate slurs of any kind, whether in the Hyperion Networks Discord or in the server.

G22. “RDM” or “random death match” is strictly prohibited. You are not to shoot or attack any other player without a valid reason.

G33. “VDM” or “vehicle deathmatch” is strictly prohibited. You are not to run another player over for any reason or under any circumstance.

G44. Any form of forced erotic roleplay is strictly prohibited.

G55. Any form of cheating or the use of third-party applications is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to the use of:

G6• tracer rounds; or

G7• graphics packs that pose an unfair advantage.

G89. Any form of exploiting unintentional in-game mechanics is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, taking advantage of bugs without reporting them immediately to Hyperion Networks Staff. Failing to report an exploit that a player may have discovered will be dealt with as though the player involved has actively and intentionally exploited.

G910. Any form of advertising/promoting other servers is strictly prohibited. Other forms of advertising (such as content creation or social media links) must be kept to the appropriate channels.

G1011. All communication within the Hyperion Networks discord and servers are to be in English. This applies to voice chat, OOC, and names/nicknames.

G1112. When naming each of your characters, the name is to be realistic.

G12• Unrealistic or offensive names will be actioned and your access to the server may be removed.

G1313. When roleplaying on the server, you must have a working microphone.

G14• If you are having issues with your microphone and the problem persists, you must exit and resolve the issue prior to re-entering the server.

G1514. Transferring assets between characters is strictly prohibited.

G16• This includes money, cars, items, and weapons.

G17• These transactions require government involvement and a ticket.

G1815. If you choose to play more than one character, your characters are forbidden from knowing one another or having any knowledge that the other character knows.

G19• They could never have met in roleplay and are not to have anything to do with each other.

G2016. Whether you are communicating by radio, phone or in person, you must stay in character at all times – even if you are facing a rule break.

G21• Referring to OOC terms while in the server (regardless of how frustrating a circumstance might be) is considered Fail RP and a breach of the rules.

G2217. Realistic driving is encouraged throughout the city (including roleplaying your injuries).

G23• Performing unrealistic vehicle jumps/stunts at high speeds is allowed.

G24• This includes driving any type of vehicle up or down stairs.

G2518. The use of a boombox or car radio must adhere to Rule 1.1 of the rules, i.e. there is to be no explicit lyrics played at any point during the song.

G2619. Your actions in the city are determined by matters which occur in roleplay.

G27• Having no intention to roleplay is strictly prohibited.

G28• Trolling behaviour in breach of these rules carries harsher punishment than innocently breaching the rules.

G29• You are required to think about your character’s reactions in this regard.

G30• Someone crashing into your vehicle and apologising, for example, is NOT an excuse to murder them, this will be seen as RDM unless the person is clearly trolling.

G3120. Hostile protests are strictly prohibited.

G3221. Radio frequencies are limited to a maximum of 8 digits, for example, 8457.8875 is acceptable.

G3322. Going idle/AFK in city:

G34• For any period of time while working in a whitelisted job is not permitted. If you need to go idle/AFK, please go off duty; or,

G35• In public, it does not prevent other players from initiating on you or taking you hostage. Please think carefully about moving your character out of harm's way before going idle/AFK.

G3623. You must roleplay your character’s injuries and are prohibited from talking while dead under any circumstances.

G3724. Players cannot wear organisation clothing if they are not part of that organisation.

G3825. You must be over the age of 18 to 'roll the dice' or gamble.

G3926. You cannot rob someone if you have not been directly involved in the situation resulting in that character’s death/downed body.

G4027. Players who record for roleplay reasons must use a bodycam/phone for the evidence to be valid.

G41• This includes ensuring that your character physically wears the item or holds out the phone to record.

G4228. Police corruption is strictly prohibited.

G4329. Hitman RP and terrorist RP are strictly prohibited (including any references to terrorist, political or religious matters).

G4430. Suicide RP is not strictly prohibited but is the last resort of any RP and will not be permitted without sufficient build-up in extreme circumstances (if you are confused about this, treat it as prohibited and avoid it).

G45• You should not be engaging in suicide RP if you intend to continue playing that character.

G4631. By accessing or using the services provided by Hyperion Networks, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

G4731.1 Random PC Checks - To maintain the integrity and fairness of gameplay for all members, you may be subject to a random PC Check at any time.

G4831.2 Grounds for PC Checks - A PC Check may be initiated in any of the following circumstances:

G49• Upon receipt of credible reports alleging unfair gameplay (e.g. suspected cheating);

G50• Where a staff member, in the course of their duties, observes behaviour reasonably considered suspicious; or

G51• Following the issuance of a ban by any anti-cheat software utilised by Hyperion Networks.

G5231.3 Outcome Notification - While Hyperion Networks is not required to provide you with the detailed results of any scan, you will be notified of the general outcome, for example:

G53• Confirmation that no prohibited or suspicious software was detected; or

G54• Confirmation that prohibited or suspicious software was detected.

G5531.4 Consent - By continuing to use Hyperion Networks services, you consent to the conduct of such checks in accordance with this policy.

G562. Staff, Reports and Moderation

G57Hyperion Networks Staff volunteer their time to enforce the server rules, ensuring a cohesive & fluent RP experience for those within the server, plus provide a safe & inclusive environment within the Hyperion Networks Discord.
